Any personal information that I process is provided directly and consensually by you to me, or to persons campaigning for me, via my website or on your doorstep, for one of the following reasons: I may share your information with other persons who are helping me with my campaign. I will do my utmost to ensure that the data is protected from misuse at all times. Your data will not be shared with anyone else, nor used for any purposes other than those stated above.

4. The lawful bases for gathering your information:

(a) Your consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting me at david@carmona4cambridge.uk;

(b) My legitimate interest in campaigning for election in your area.

5. How I store your personal information

Your information is securely hosted in a database managed by iPage, a commercial hosting company that is a Division of Endurance International Group; iPage is headquartered at 5335 Gate Pkwy 2nd Floor Jacksonville, FL 32256, USA. The data is stored in a data centre located in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

I will keep your personal data for the duration of the electoral campaign and for up to 5 years after that, to continue to send you information about my political activities and any related meetings and events, and to canvass you for electoral purposes only, unless you request that I remove your data, in which case I will securely and permanently erase it from the database.

6. Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have the following rights:

A right of access: You can ask me for a copy of your personal data.

A right to rectification: You can ask me to correct or complete any personal information you think is inaccurate or incomplete.

A right to erasure: You can ask me to erase your personal information.

A right to restrict processing: You can ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information.

A right to object to processing: You can object to how I process your personal information.

A right to data portability: You can ask me to transfer your personal data back to you in electronic format.

You do not have to pay anything to exercise these rights. If you request to exercise them, I have one month to respond to you.
